A micropile is a little-diameter (commonly fewer than twelve inches), drilled and grouted substitute pile that normally is reinforced. A micropile is constructed by drilling a borehole, positioning reinforcement, and grouting the opening. Micropiles can stand up to axial and/or lateral loads, and could be thought of a substitute for regular piles o
